Bates was introduced to the alternative healing world almost twenty years ago. Her introduction started with herbal remedies, theological studies, reflexology, and raw foods. Her mother was her first client. After the passing of her mother in 1992, Bates continued with her alternative healing studies and moved into hands-on-healing, homeopathic remedies, energy medicine and aura, chakra and meridian work. Bates started "Giving HOPE" as her home-based business in 2003. I was only seeing people by appointment only. I didnt really adveritse. I got all my business through word of mouth.
I attempted to expand my business from my home to a building that was the old "Farmer's Market." I was in preperation mode when on Feb 15th at approximately 2:00 am the building caught on fire. I was in shock when my neighbor called around 2:30am. Me and my husband ran down to their but the police wouldn't let us pass. I was deviasted. I also learned a lesson. Be in this world but not of this world. I let go of all my worldly attachments before the ego had a chance to drive me crazy. I am not sure what caused the fire. I will tell you people have imagination. Hearing it all was like watching a show called "Imagination gone wild." I have heard some stories that make your mouth drop. All I know is that when I went down there all my things to help people heal. the books that you could learn from, and the cards that inspired were gone. I found a dead animal in the back corner where the fire supposedly started. It could have been like the movie National Lapoon's chiristmas vacation where the cat got fried because it chewed on the wire. It could have been sabotage. I had only one couple that hate me so much and would do anything to see me fail. I dont believe they started the fire but I do believe they hate me. I heard that evil did it. I heard that there were drugs being made down there. I heard bums were living there when I wasn't around.
After Feb 15, 2007 fire, came Feb 28, 2007 my father-in-law died, then on Mach 13, 2007 my mother-in-law passed also. All I could feel at that time was a little bit numb. I had enough time to process it all. It just felt like a soul construction work was being done. This was all a blessing. something had to happen for a something else to happen. I didnt rebuild my business in the same locate. I didn't rent any space. I did decorate my in-laws house in order to open for business.
Brenda Bates has been in the health industry for about 20 years. Brenda is a metaphysical practitioner. She is currently working for her Doctorate in metaphysics, which is the study of the nature of reality and being.
Brenda says that her main purpose is to teach people how to heal themselves. She also provides products to help her clientele cleanse themselves of the built up toxins in their body and teaches them how to recondition their life. She says it is important to do all of the steps because they work and her clientele notices that the issues stop repeating and health returns.
